The MAILeS's performance depends on the synchronization between the unit's performance and the pilot's skills. Its interface monitors the pilot's senses by analyzing the pilot's brainwaves and body impulses to outfit the unit's reaction speed. While its sensors protect the pilot's body from the unit's external conditions, the feedback is still transmitted through electronic signals while letting the pilot view full environmental projection through its retinal cameras. The result is that the pilot operates the MAILeS exactly as if it were his or her own body while handling the control grips.
The true functionality is the interface system itself with the i-LeS installed and projected virtually in its default avatar form as it guides its pilot through best course of action.
Notes & Trivia
- The control interface bears similarity towards the Mobile Trace System in Mobile Fighter G Gundam.
