NAX14P Brady Phantom is an AMAIM that appears in AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline, it is piloted by Brad Watt, And is North American Coalition first MAILeS type AMAIM.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
Manufactured after the North American Coalition was able to retrieve Ghost after its battle against Yatagarasu, this AMAIM was made as Brad Watt's personal machine, the AI Prototype Zero, belonging to Ghost, was also transferred over to this unit, While the main body was based on NAC's newest model, the Brady Fox, its interior engines have been reworked to increase the machine's performance to its maximum output.
The Brady Phantom was deployed first in an incomplete state during the battle against FGE forces, with its appearance being very similar to that of a regular Brady Fox, armed with two swords carried over from Brad's custom Brady Hound. While it possessed enough strength to repel the enemy's attack, both Brad and his opponent Alexei knew that the machine was still far from reaching its potential. it would eventually be completed, adding additional armor, a unique visor, and stabilizers on the shoulders for mobility purposes, all this gave the unit a sinister appearance.
Thanks to all these upgrades, the Brady Phantom can surpass various other AMAIM on the field with its increased mobility and strength, it also has the ability to adapt to any terrain or combat situation, although all of this does put a heavy load on its pilot, so much to the point where Brad Watt had to wear a specially made suit to compensate for the G-force that were caused by piloting this unit
Armaments[]
Multi Gauntlets[]
A pair enhanced armor, mounted on both arms, each having two heat blades as additional armaments.
Swords[]
A pair of swords, which are similar to those found in other commander units, these swords are longer than the regular type, unmanned units have shown difficulty trying to use these weapons, as such, they can only be used to their full potential when a pilot is manning the cockpit.
Special Features[]
Prototype Zero "Ghost" AI Unit[]
The original AI carried over from the jet-black AMAIM, Ghost gave the Brady Phantom additional combat and strategic capabilities, and could work together in conjuncture with a pilot during combat.
History[]
After Ghost was defeated during the battle at the Oki Islands, the North American Coalition was able to retrieve its remains and salvage its AI unit, Ghost would then be used to tremendous success in the creation of a next-generation tactical AI. Implementing this AI into their new machine, the Brady Fox, the NAC forces soon overwhelmed the other three economic blocs, taking more and more Japanese territory. As for Ghost itself, Brad entrusted the AI to R&D Chief Charley Orley, who would develop a new body for it in the form of the Brady Phantom.
When called to aid First Lieutenant Gregory Curtland against FGE forces led by Major Alexei Zelenoy, Brad requested Orley's team to complete the Brady Phantom in time for the operation. Despite the new Amaim being technically incomplete, Brad and his troops were able to rescue Curtland, and the Brady Phantom decimated the entire FGE force of FGEA07 Subbota Demons by itself. Engaging Alexei's FGEA08 Znelezo Demon in melee combat, Brad and Ghost soon disabled the FGE Major's AMAIM, forcing him to retreat.
At one point, Brad Watt ordered in secret for every copy of Ghost's AI to be deleted, leaving only the Brady Phantom with the original AI unit on it.
The Brady Phantom was eventually completed and put to use in the Hokuriku battlefront, where it fought against the New Japanese Army, where it destroyed Amou Shiba's Bunyip Boomerang Squadron, there, Brad fought against him and his Kenbu Zan, Brad had released the limiters for his machine, which gave him a great advantage over his opponent, but at the cost of him suffering from the intense G-forces caused by the unit, straining him to his very limit, at one point during the fierce battle, the Brady Phantom was able to gain the upper hand, and was about to finish the Kenbu off, until the latter was able to overcome him, thanks to the support of all three i-LeS, Gai, Nayuta, and Kei, due to this, Ambou Shiba rose victorious, leaving the Brady Phantom critically damaged, before it was destroyed, Ghost's AI spared Brad and ejected him from the cockpit, saving him, the machine then exploded, marking the end of Ghost.
